Showers that run noticeably cooler are a steady source of complaints; manual probes never sit exactly 150mm and 750mm below the faceplate so the difference is unreliable; hand-adjusted supply cannot hold 0.25MPa dynamic pressure; and hand-copied records undermine the report.
Capability
The rig tests shower head temperature drop performance per GB/T 23447-2009. Principle: at dynamic pressure 0.25 plus/minus 0.02MPa, hot water flows through the shower head and the temperature difference measured 150mm plus/minus 10mm and 750mm plus/minus 10mm below the faceplate is the temperature drop. Stainless steel and aluminium frame no larger than 2000x800mm; independent built-in stainless water tank with automatic make-up and heating (ambient to 70 degrees C) and filtered water circuit; sample clamps at the test position; thermometry device with 900mm lifting stroke positions both points automatically; water 15-50 degrees C; test time 0-9999s; Siemens PLC, analogue I/O and touch panel; Grundfos pump with 0-1.0MPa (1.0 class) pressure and 0-0.6MPa dynamic range; network interface for LIMS data acquisition; retest rule when two readings at 150mm differ by more than 0.5 degrees; delivered with provincial-level or above calibration certificate; AC220V.
